International Night 2018
International Night is a fundraiser for student scholarships for study abroad. 100% of the proceeds will go toward helping DCCC students have a life-changing international educational experience.
International Night 2018 will take place on Thursday, March 22 from 5:30-7:30 p.m in the Brinkley Gym of the Davidson Campus.
The event will feature a food truck, activities for all ages, live entertainment and displays representing almost 30 countries. Attendees can expect to taste cuisine from around the globe; watch performances by Cambodian dancers, a Korean pop band, the Winston Salem Prep Choir, and many other international performers; see displays of authentic artifacts and traditional dress and even hear a variety of languages spoken. A family-friendly affair, the event will offer a special children’s area. Participants will also be able to “visit” each country and earn stamps for their passport.
Advance tickets are available at the information desk located in the Brooks Student Center on the Davidson Campus, from DCCC Scholars of Global Distinction, or online at https://tinyurl.com/DCCCInternationalNight2018. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.
- Ages 12 and up: $5 in advance, $7 at the door
- Ages 6-11 and DCCC students: $5 in advance and at the door
- Ages 5 and under: Free
- Family Deal: $15 at the door for 1-2 adults plus any number of children
