Uptown Lexington Education Center

The Uptown Lexington Education Center opened in May 2004 at 20 East First Street. The center was made possible by community partners including BB&T, City of Lexington, Davidson Vision, DCCC, Friends of the Project, Lexcom, and Uptown Lexington, Inc.

Students may enroll in credit classes leading to certificates, diplomas and degrees, as well as continuing education, and High School Equivalency classes. The satellite center is popular with students who enjoy the environment in a smaller class setting and the convenience of the location.
