Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistants Lead New Russian, Arabic Courses at DCCC This Fall

Aug. 20, 2014 – For the first time this fall, Davidson County Community College will offer Arabic and Russian language courses taught by native speakers visiting the college through the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant program.

George Grubb’s Wildlife Photography to Be Featured at DCCC Fall Art Show

Aug. 18, 2014 – Davidson County Community College welcomes home nationally acclaimed photographer and Lexington native George Grubb as he headlines the college’s annual Fall Art Show opening today as students return to campus for classes. Grubb’s exhibition, titled “Earth’s Vanishing Species,” will be on display through a Nov.

Aug. 27, 2014 – Davidson County Community College recently received funding from the State Employees Credit Union (SECU) Foundation for 10 Continuing Education scholarships for the 2014-2015 school year (July 1, 2014 – June 30, 2015).

Aug. 21, 2014 – Davidson County Community College students and community members can explore the world this fall through a series of international “Passport Events” scheduled on the Davidson and Davie campuses.
